Overview
The Fuelled Mobile App allows you to quickly catalogue equipment directly from the field, yard, shop, lease site, or office. Cataloguing equipment creates a complete equipment record within Asset Manager, making it easy to track inventory, prepare assets for sale, request appraisals, transfer equipment between locations, and manage your fleet.
Before You Begin
Before cataloguing equipment, ensure you have:
Access to the Fuelled Mobile App
A stable internet connection (if available)
Equipment details available
Equipment serial number or VIN (if applicable)
Photos of the equipment
Any supporting documents such as inspection reports, maintenance records, manuals, or certifications
Step 1: Open the Mobile App
Launch the Fuelled Mobile App.
Sign in using your Fuelled account credentials.
From the main dashboard, tap Asset Manager.
Step 2: Create a New Equipment Record
Tap the + Add Equipment button.
Select the appropriate equipment category.
Enter the equipment details.
Common fields may include:
Equipment Name
Asset ID
Equipment Category
Manufacturer
Model
Year
Serial Number
VIN
Engine Hours
Kilometers
Ownership Status
Current Condition
Purchase Date
Purchase Price
Complete as many fields as possible to create an accurate equipment profile.
Step 3: Assign Location and Business Unit
Select the appropriate:
Business Unit
Operating Division
Yard Location
Project Location
Facility
This allows your organization to accurately track where equipment is located and who is responsible for it.
Step 4: Upload Equipment Photos
Tap Add Photos and capture or upload:
Front view
Rear view
Left side
Right side
Operator station
Engine compartment
Undercarriage or running gear
Attachments
Serial number plate
Any visible damage or wear
Tip: High-quality photos improve equipment valuation and future listing performance.
Step 5: Add Specifications
Enter available equipment specifications such as:
Engine Make
Engine Model
Horsepower
Operating Weight
Capacity
Lift Height
Reach
Hydraulic Configuration
Tire Information
Attachment Information
Specifications help buyers, appraisers, and internal teams accurately evaluate equipment.
Step 6: Upload Documents
Attach any relevant documents including:
Inspection Reports
Service Records
Maintenance Logs
Ownership Documents
Registration Documents
Equipment Manuals
Warranty Information
Certification Records
All documents are securely stored within the equipment record.
Step 7: Record Equipment Condition
Complete the condition assessment section.
Document:

Structural Condition
Tire or Undercarriage Condition
Known Deficiencies
Repairs Required
Safety Concerns
Accurate condition reporting improves internal asset management and equipment valuations.
Step 8: Save the Equipment Record
After completing all information:
Review the equipment details.
Verify photos and documents have uploaded successfully.
Tap Save Equipment.
The equipment will now be stored in Asset Manager.
What Happens Next?
Once catalogued, equipment can be:
Managed within Asset Manager
Listed on the Fuelled Marketplace
Included in Equipment Packages
Assigned to Projects
Transferred between Locations
Submitted for Appraisal
Submitted for Consignment
Tracked as part of your equipment inventory
Best Practices
Capture a minimum of 8-12 photos per asset.
Always record the serial number.
Upload maintenance documentation whenever available.
Keep equipment records updated as hours, locations, or conditions change.
Use clear equipment names and asset IDs for easier searching.
Review records regularly to ensure inventory accuracy.
